Today's post is very apt - the dishwasher is broken, the men came to fix it, and predictably they have to order parts which will take time and so they may be able to come back next week, and I'll have the pleasure of waiting for them for several hours to see if they turn up. Hooray - not!

In the meantime, the kids are getting very good at washing up!
Is that a Bosch? Exactly the same thing happened to ours!
ReplyDeleteThe on/off button is broken on mine; I think it is missing a little catch or something, as it will not stay pushed in...unless wedged with a wooden toothpick. I do get up now and then to find the machine has stopped partway through the cycle and the broken switch has been catapulted to the other side of the room!

ReplyDeleteWhen our dishwasher broke down and was too expensive to fix, we decided not to get another one. We now wash by hand, it's not so bad and you wouldn't believe the difference to our electricity bill!
